Two dozens of impermanent beauty
04/18/2003
It's still the perfect day for you to sign my guestbook. I need attention and care these days.
Ang and I went to the flower market today. Shelley gave me money to get her a dozen roses, and while I was looking through all those roses, I realized that I have never received a dozen roses from anyone, so I decided not to wait for that to happen. I went into a store, asked if the guy had any roses for $10 (the limit Shelley had), bargained the price down without even haggling really and got myself 24 beautiful yellow roses with burnt orange edges (for only $18).
I see nothing wrong with my purchase. Impermanent beauty is still beautiful and worthwhile.
